biography/history:

Nancy Griswold was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She acquired her BFA at Massachusetts College of Art and also studied the arts at Bennington College, Hartford Art School, Northeastern University and Decordova Museum Art School. She spent many early years in the Boston area studying and working in the arts. After a two-year stay in the countryside of Vermont and several years in both New Hampshire and Connecticut, she makes her home in Vermont. She is a diversified and multi-talented artist. She has both taught and been very prolific in her own artistic pursuits. Her employment has encompassed fields of fine arts, photography, teaching, oil painting, design and illustration in various towns in New England. activities/services:

Currently Nancy is painting a series of oil paintings of the White Mountains and Northern New England. She is also interested in commissioned oils and teaching arts, school visits and residencies within New Hampshire and Vermont. When this series is completed she will be interested in exhibiting the works as a whole.

She is also working on a series of photographic print renditions for prints and cards of businesses, homes and scenics in New England. These are intended to for sale through Note Cards and Prints that are easily available for locals and tourists in both online and store locations.
